Teifi Farm, Ceredigion, are the award-winning producers of  this soft, buttery, smear-ripened cheese. It is hand-washed in cider and matured for eight weeks, developing a strong, pungent aroma which perfectly compliments the already smooth, subtle and spicy taste.

Mouldy Mabel

This pasteurised Blue cheese is produced in Carmarthenshire from Jersey Cows and has all the hallmarks of a Roquefort with its delightfully creamy but rich strength packed into every mouthful. The Marches would happily say it is the best British Blue cheese we have tasted.

Golden Cenarth

This organic, semi-soft washed-rind cheese has an unmistakable seductive pungency and wonderful nutty aftertaste. The Welsh cheese beat off 912 entrants to win “Supreme Champion” at the 2010 British Cheese Awards.

Wye Valley Cheese

  • Unpasteurised
  • Ewe’s milk

This cheese is made from the producers own flock of Poll Dorset and Friesland ewes which graze the grasslands of Lower Gockett Farm, Trelleck. It is matured for between 60-90 days and the results are outstanding, with this full flavoured hard cheese being one of our favourites.

Gorwydd Caerphilly

The Trethowan family  have just recently moved to a purpose-built dairy in Somerset, however, their Caerphilly still remains inherently Welsh in origin using the same traditional family recipe and hands-on technique used for the past twenty years. The result is a cheese that is fresh-tasting with a distinct lemony flavour, becoming softer and more creamy with age.  It has won multiple awards every year since it was first made.

Smart’s Single Gloucester

  • Unpasteurised
  • Cow’s milk

Made with full cream milk from the morning milking and skimmed milk from the evening milking, this cheese is aged for at least three weeks for a firm but mild, buttery flavour. It is also one of the few British cheese to have Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
